Never mind the bollocks, here's to punk music

Lydon had written the lyrics in the kitchen of his Hampstead squat, originally calling the song No Future. It was a call to arms to anyone disenfranchised by class-ridden England, a place of dole queues and grim housing estates for those not sharing the dream.

Yeah!
This album has a proud place in my vinyl collection.
Makes me feel young too - I was 1 year and 1 week old that day :-)

EDIT: Alright, relatively young. The bald head's a bit of a witness for the prosecution there.

ha ! a mere stripling youth...
I was 5 years and 7 months me ! sadly, my vinyl/perspex/datafile collection is still decidedly lacking on the 'Pistols front, but I have covers of several of their songs, particulary 'Anarchy in the USA' which made an appearance on Megadeth's "So Far, So Good. So What ?!" Album.

Also part of my vinyl collection, although it's a bit crackly and the sleeve is rather dog-eared.

I was five years old in '77 too.

the furthest i have ventured into that genre was blondie.

btw i was 6 yrs old in 77.

By the time I was seven I was, much to my mum's dismay, wearing a black, leather jacket and spiking my hair. I loved punk. (Well, at least I thought I did.)

Imagine the kudos?  She was my first crush, my bro had a poster of her on his wall.  I now know why the poster was placed near the end of the bed...
