My free c-64

Dear Friends:

After finding out that it costs like us$ 88 to have it shipped..I decided I am not gonna ship it anywhere ( i was offering to give it away for free and only pay s/h).
I am just gonna give it away locally...prob just the salvation army/etc. Hope you don't mind this inconvinience.

Was $88 the price to ship in the USA for a C64 & a 1541 ?
USPS parcel post is usually the least expensive method to ship in the USA. If you could figure a less expensive way @ $35 to ship the C64 & 1541 to Michigan, I would take them and give them a good home.

where are you? :-) shouldn't be any more than $20-30 *at most* to ship across the whole country from NY to CA. i'm guessing you're not exactly in the US?

I have mine still, but another added to the collection wouldn't be a bad idea.  Where u located?

if its just a c64 + 1541 then your overcharging on shipping.  It doesnt cost $88 to ship that.   It would have to have a TON of stuff with it just to get it close to $88.
