I've got a buffered IDE interface plus a CF to IDE adapter with a 1 GB CF card inside my A1200. These aren't currently affixed to anything. Only connected to each other and the mobo with a couple of ribbon cables and plenty of insulation tape to prevent shorts.

Any ideas of getting the interface and the adapter card affixed on to the HD cradle, preferably so that they can be detached in the future? My A1200 is a desktop model.

Double-sided sticky pads would work well. If you get good quality ones then the glue is very strong so they definitely won't come off. If you put one pad in each corner of the board then there's no way it can move and short on the case.

I have some San Disk IDE-AB-6 IDE to PCMCIA Flash Adapters that I have put PCMCIA to Compact Flash cards into.

They are designed to replace a 2.5 IDE hd and bolt in the same way as a HD.

Here is an image of the item.

I have eight of them if someone wants one I will sell em for $20 plus s/h.

I have used them on PC and Amigas (CD32 with SX 32 Pro).

They take a 2.5 IDE HD connector.  Perfect device for amigas.
