We need help from someone in Demark!
« on: May 18, 2007, 10:57:11 PM »
Two years ago, authorities in Denmark made it illegal to produce food with trans fats, imposing hefty fines and even prison terms against violators, and consumers have said that foods are not poorer for it. We need the help of someone in Denmark that has a video camera to shoot some footage at local restaurants and McDonald's. This is a paid gig and will be in our film Oil Change, you could be a star. Filming and journalist experience is a plus but not required, the quality of your shots will speak for themselves. No editing is required, our editor will do that.

Don't you have to convert it to biodiesel first?  The problem with McDonald's is that (at least in Australia) it's animal fat and therefore not as acceptable to vegans.

But here is the question, WHAT DO VEGANS PUT INTO THEIR CARS IN THE ABSENCE OF VEGETABLE BIODESEL?

What we\'re witnessing is the sad, lonely crowing of that last, doomed cock.

Aren't diesel a product of Oil wich in turn is a biproduct of dead animals and plants decomposed over many years? If it's ok to use dead animals as a fuel for explosions in a metal tube constructed to propel the human body forward is it then not ok to use dead animals as a fuel for the human body for it to self propel itself forward? Or do I need to keep it refridgerated a set period of time before this is acceptable?

Let the :madashell: begin.

It depends about your engine technology (low pressure injection, no turbo,...), and also the injection pump.
There are lot of site about that on the net.
Lots of people use Colza oil (the one use for cooking !) directly bought per 1 litter bottle in supermarket.

Well, as a vegetarian (not a vegan, though) I have no issues tanking gasoline on my car.  Liquified dinosaurs, if you will.

The biggest difference, for me, is that they were not kept in cages their entire life, and did not die as a "product" but as free animals.

Hahahahahaha.... You're funny... Prison ?!?!? This is not the states... They would just close your factory if you brake the law. And give you a fine...!

Every food factory is tested randomly more than once a year in Denmark. Then they get a certificad with a smiley for the quality. Like this.:

 :-)      ... Everything is fine..!

:-) ... The smile a little smaller ... Everything ok, but the tester had some remarks...

:-l ... They have been korrect and shall do it better, if not they get a fine

:-( ... They got a fine or even got closed temporaly.

This dokument hangs always visible to all costumors. If not they get serious trouble.

Best system in the world for the costumors... Hangs in every store, grill, factory or whatever has to do with food or animals..!

Two years ago, Denmark declared war on artery-clogging oils, making it illegal for any food to have more than 2 percent trans fats. Offenders now face hefty fines — or even prison terms.

I guess the prison part is when it is a repeated offence and the person responsible refuses to listen to the law enforcement.
