@c64_d0c

As Wayne allready pointed out, complains are to be sent via PM on aw.net, not by threads on other sites  ;-)

Your current ban was not issued by me alone btw, we did  discuss it among the staff as we usually do with bans over 7 days.

And as always, if you feel we have been unfair, the ajudication process is open.

be aware of this site its run by hooligans, that call them self moderators....

 :angry:

Well d0c, there was a good reason you were restricted, and it isn't as though you hadn't been warned now is it, but the last time I checked, most sites have a policy against personal attacks and irrespective of how you feel about certain individuals, personally attacking them is what you were doing.

There are many ways you can get your point across without resorting to the methods you chose to use.

You've got me all curious now.
Don't suppose anyone wants to give me all the details?
Ah well, thought not. :-(

If you go to the threads where the lawsuit is being discussed, you will see takemehomegrandma and Tigger espousing points of view that are very different from any "established views" one might expect to see at amigaworld.net.  There is a lot of disagreement and much vigorous discussion, but you'll notice that they are still there and not getting banned.  Why? because they play by the (not very complex) rules: they stick to the stuff they're arguing and they don't do personal attacks.  There is a difference between disagreeing with the status quo and being a jerk.

I must admit the amigaworld.net lot are a bit anal, and they were funny with me when I signed up. I decided just to stay away, I don't want anything to do with argumentative types like that.

When the mass "jump ship" to amigans took place, amigaworld has become a proper amiga site and now people are free to discuss anything without censorship and banning plus it certainly ain't a "you better blind praise Amiga companies, or else" site, like it once was.

How times change  :lol:
