ok iv been up grading my 1200 for the past couple of weeks. Try and get it to a good standerd so i got an A1200 and put a blizzard 030@50mhz.
Iv put a ide dvd rom at the side of the amiga for now (hoping to put an internal one in).
Put a 6gb hdd in it but only 4gb is in use.
Theres the 3.0 roms in it at the moment  (next thing to be done)
and 32mb of fast ram.

just wondering is this an ok amiga ?? and what can i do with it now?

it plays superfrog and lemmings ok
A500 with ram card
A1200 blizzard 030@50mhz  32mb ram 6GB HDD cdrom

a mountin of floppys

None amigas
amd pc
intel imac

As far as it mathers for gaming you can install whdload and run all those games floppy free and with exelent loading times ... Also you have the possibility too run alot of memmory hungy apps from your workbench now. in all you have a completly new system with possibilitys far greater than ever before  :-)

If you do go OS3.9 then dont forget you wil need the 3.1 Roms.

unless you choose to emulate 3.1 roms. i think thats possible with relokick or something i think.

Yeah an amiga with a blizzard 1230 is a nice little machine,that was my first real decent upgrade after an 8mb ex board..1260 now though..
