Hi.
I'm using a Zoom 56k modem with my Amiga and i thought to upgrage its firmware. I was pleased to see that there is a special tool for this on aminet:
http://aminet.net/comm/misc/ZOOM56kupd_201.lha but not for long. I'm having trouble in the first steps of the proccess:
Step 1: I launch Term and i type AT&F as is instructed. OK so far.
Step 2: I type AT** , but instead of a "download initiated" prompt, i get an "ERROR" message and thus i can't proceed any further!... :-(
So far i have tried these alternatives:
2 OS's (AmigaOS and MorphOS)
2 modems
2 serial ports (bult-in and SilverSurfer)
2 terminal programs.
In all cases i always get an ERROR when i enter AT**
What could i be doing wrong? I need some help.
