FS: Floppy memory disk adapter $20 shipped US
« on: May 08, 2007, 05:12:08 PM »
I have these for sale at $20 bucks each, shipped CONUS. They are floppy memory disk/stick adapters for PC floppy drives, don't know if it can be made to work on the Amiga:
1 @ Floppy disk adapter, made by Fuji film, # FD-A1" accepts Fuji smart media cards. Comes with install software (PC) & manual.
1 @ Floppy disk adapter, #MSAC-FD2M; for Sony "Memory Sticks" for the PC floppy drives; don't know if it can be made to work on an Amiga. Asking $20 each, includes shipping to your front door steps...Sorry ain't got pay-pal & don't care for e-bay!
Thanks A-Org!....Tony

Hmmmmm, I always wondered if someone made something like that 'cause I have a Sony Mavica camera that uses a 3.5" floppy. Like this....

Do you think that it will work in the Sony Mavica camera? Even if it didn't work on an Amiga it sure would be handy on the PC side.

I think most peeps would use this item in just the opposite manner that I want to use it. I want to insert the floppy adapter into the Mavica then insert the flash media into my computer...

My Sony Mavica (Dual media) MVC-FD100, can use either the floppy or the memory stick. I guess your Mavica can only use a floppy, but no "memory stick" functions? So now you got my curiosity just to see if the "Floppy adapter" with a 128MB memory stick inserted into my Mavica would work: Nope! It doesn't recognize in either "floppy" nor "memory stick" mode. I think this adapter is for the PC floppy drive to record/playback. I do not know if this will work on a USB floppy drive programmed via "Highway" or "Subway"USB port on the Amiga? Maybe some of our more experienced Amiga users have tried this? This adapter comes with CD install for PC & manual & the floppy adapter as well. Hope I didn't cause any misunderstandings? BTW: I love my Mavica, one of the best cameras in my opinion.
