Ja, he will know where this is leading to.
Firstly, let me give you a link to the equipment that is involved:

It isn't top of the range, but it is a very good scanner. It has a 64 channel detector, each channel being able to resolve .625mm 'slices.'

We have one of these at the hospital. I was asked to investigate two requests by the radiologists:

1) Feasibility of storing all the .625mm slices on our PACS network.
2) Remote access to those slices (so he can view those from home).

Well, if I test it I can't use actual patient data. I have to use test data, because of patient confidentiality and the way I will handle the data.
So here I am thinking "What can I get them to scan? Something inanimate, big enough to require around 1000 slices?"

Hmmm, didn't Cass make a suggestion many moons ago?

It's an A500 for sure...

-Edit- with a battry backup clock on  Ram card!

-Edit- Perhaps a Rev6A, type 1... noticing the resistor patched by Denise /CIA...

It's not a 500+ because it doesn't have battery backed up clock on the motherboard.

-Edit- Also the left shift key is the long type... the 500+ had the short type... damn... I'm boring... :roll:

It`s more about s/w and data processing, so you must know how to program such an application and the way the data is processed (you need documentation here)

You could use bogus data, if you only want to see if you can store them to another remote storage device, and have access to it. In case you need to test real CT-scans, you may design a "double blind" study by masking the patient personal data.

Okay, Bloodline won. I'll count him and his sock as two people. Cass is number 3.
I don't know about the revision number, but it is indeed an A500 with a trapdoor RAM expansion and battery.

What did they win? Nothing valuable, just something rare: cross-sectional imaging of the aforementioned A500. Sorry it is too big to post here because it is DICOM imaging.
I'll post one or two slices later (there are more than 1000). The image above is only a planning or scout view of the A500 before it was scanned.

I'm not opening it, because I have already packed it away.
However, you will be able to confirm whether it is a Revision 6 when you see the scan. The slices are sub-millimetre.
