Well, I've owned about 12 Amigas now... sold the last one (decked out 68040 / a1200 with scan doubler) a couple of years ago to buy a Mac running OSX and I was pretty sure I was "done" with the old Amigas... the Mac was EXCELLENT.. the impact was similar to going from dos to the Amiga in 1992.  I was satisfied... besides the A1200 was a little dirty and banged up and I figured someday I would find a nicer one.

So last week in my sleep I heard a female voice calling...  I woke up in a haze, checked my closet and realized I had no more Amigas :(.  I had betrayed the woman I love for a fling with a sexy young blonde.  What is one to do when the voice is calling and there is no longer a lovely Amiga to touch, feel, smell, hold ...

... get her back naturally :)

So I made sure to get a nice clean A1200 because I'm NOT selling this one.  It's going to hang out with my SX64 and talk about the glory days.  So I'm back, but for good this time.  

I guess the first step is to admit that you have a problem.

Yeah, so I'm still addicted after all these years.

I just found AmiKit! This is something new since I was here last and it looks great... need to try it in parallels on the mac.

The new A1200 should be here next week... already dug out Amiga Explorer,my null modem cable, and my wireless PCMCIA card.

Amiga emulator in  parallels is not something I would recommend. I have tried it once, and it was awfull...
Try a dualboot on your mac, or use E-uae or similar on the mac.

Or just wait for the a1200 to arrive :)

How long before you start upgrade it? :P

Glad you are back.

I am also in the process of thinking the best way to get my old Amiga 1200 back on its feet. I dont think I want to install OS 3.9 or anything, just OS 3.0 and all the software I once had on it.

Wish they made a brilliant paint package for pc like Brilliance. :) Think I still have the hardware dongle for it.  :-)
