So, Amigas then...
« on: May 02, 2007, 07:24:56 AM »
Can we please get back to talking about our hobby instead of all this pointless b1tching about AInc vs Hyp? When the trial is finished and there is something conclusive to discuss then fine, lets hear everyone's views. But any discussion before that is just speculation, and it's doing nothing but cluttering the forum!

I wouldn't worry about it Moto old chap.  These things tend to burn brightly, but burn out fast here.  After this initial "excitement" the regulars will stop talking about it, the mental cases will go back to sneering at each other on Moobunny, and the zealots and {bleep}-stirrers will go back to AmigaWorld where people actually really care about this kind of stuff.

I'm personally using this whole situation to sneek back in without anyone noticing and saying "I told you so" :-)

Within a week it will be back to its usual madn...er...discussions.

I agree. I can't even be bothered to read the threads on this topic anymore. 100 new messages in a day? Forget it, it's mostly a lot of "I think.." and "they should..." messages anyway.

Give it a week, then all will be over here (mostly). Continuous discussions will more like be over at aw.net or amigans.net :-)

Really, this is exactly what I realized some time ago.
You forgot to add; 'save the amiga and take over the world'.

Maybe I should consider unsubscribing   and shake the habit.

Sometimes you don't remember who's missing until their avatar  pops up and you think "hey, you're still here after all".

I'm sure we can come up with some interesting threads, honest! :-D

Well, I attached my Supra28 accelerator to my A500 last night and I cannot locate my disk with the software for it.  I downloaded the .dms file with the software on it but I don't know how to get it to a floppy so I can install it on my A590.  Any help?

How's that for talking Amiga?

The forum would be completely inactive if we did not discuss such things.
Rumoring has been the only thing that has been going on in the community for the last few years.

11. AmigaOS is the simplest and most intuitive OS that ever existed. Just follow these 40 arcane steps and install these 13 patches to get your accelerator working properly with your video board.
