Probably not, I would be leaning toward the Shark from Elbox. I would also like a car that gets 100mpg. But, since none of these are produced and there is no timely scheduled production plan I don't really think about it to much.  :-)

If Amiga, Inc. were to release a statement, saying that the SAM440 was being released with OS4.0 and Dealers could start selling them, say, a week later, how many of you would buy one?

Is the SAM440 what's being referred to here:

http://www.engadget.com/2007/04/24/amiga-returns-to-the-hardware-game-promises-two-new-ppc-desktop/

??  Thanks.

Nope. This is the crappy hardware that Amiga Inc wanted to sell, not Sam440.

Count me on!

Off course if the price will be reasonable for a hobby machine.

"wanted to sell"??

So, are the boards spoken of in my link not forthcoming from Amiga, Inc?

How about porting to this http://www.xes-inc.com/Products/XPedite8000/XPedite8000.html and changing the OS name to Amiga Research Operating System Embedded.  Wouldn't that smell sweet? :-D

@Methuselas

I'll buy 1 for me, and 1 or 2 for my company.
