NEC Multisync
« on: May 01, 2007, 12:04:28 PM »
Hi my wife and I was out shopping a few days ago in Bilston town centre the local market.
I saw a Scanner, Epson printer, Base station PC no idea what specs, and a NEC Multisync monitor all in great condition.
Due to my wife being disabled and the amount of shopping I was carrying it was not possible to carry any of it to a taxi.
The total amount they was asking was £25.00 for the lot.
I was more for the NEC Multysinc monitor.
But it was one of those things that it was just not possible on the day to get home with.
So has one one any Idea as to how good the NEC Multysinc monitors are?
It was a 14" size.
I was gutted to know I could not get it home any of it.

TIA,
Mike.

unless you're talking about some amiga hybrid monitor or watever, they're fine...in one of them i had to exchange a vertical controller for the crt, but they're both running fine now...19" flat screens so nice all in all...(thrown one away...was taking up too much space)

Depends on how old it is.

14" suggests a "3" model, which depending on age would only to 31kHz (standard VGA). If it's a "3D" it will also sync down to 15kHZ, which is makes it a nice Amiga-monitor (got one myself down in the basement), but don't forget that you would be getting the picture-quality of 15 years agao.
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else
