Which is exactly why I want to start a class action suit against Amiga, Inc, for the coupon scam. They stated the coupon was for AmigaOne/OS4.0 Early Bird Bundles. Eyetech's boards, in AI's own words, are not AmigaOnes, thereby Amiga Inc committed both theft and fraud, by taking people's money *YEARS* ago.  ;-)

How could they take money for a product, originally intended to be created by a company that went bankrupt *BEFORE* the coupon fiasco and without a working product? :rtfm:

I think the point of all this legal pap is that the Amiga Inc. that created the Eyetech AmigaONE etc... is not the same one that exists now.. despite having all the same crooks in charge... the current Amiga Inc. want to ignore anything that the old Amiga Inc. did to get out of legal obligations etc... Shell game fun!!!

Hence why I want to start a civil, class-action suit against them, in Texas. The Judicial System doesn't tolerate {bleep} like that here. Since it's a civil suit, they can't hide from it and they *WILL* ask why the former CEO of a company that has, indeed committed fraud, sold off the companies assets, to avoid paying off former employees, to avoid legal  decisions, etc., is now the CEO of a "new and improved" company of the same name, "product", etc.

Big Mac must be *REALLY desperate now. Might as well get DoomMaster has the companies Technical Advisor.

[EDIT] - Actually, Matt, if you want to get technical, the "NEW" Amiga Inc isn't the one that signed the contract with Escena, Hyperion, B-Plan, etc. Their lawsuit, is, in effect, null and void. Even if they renewed the contract, which, at the point in time, Escena was defunct, as a company, they *KNOWINGLY* were ripping off the public, since they had no product.

Well, I don't claim to unerstand the details of this... but can't the contrat be an asset? if so... it can be transfered... Well... I don't know. I'm sure BillyMcE has a plan...

Dealers will then be able to sell the AmigaOne as is, or can build a complete system, or sell you the parts and let you the end user make it yourself. AmigaOS 4.0 is not pre-loaded on the system, but is sold with the AmigaOne.

If they stand on that point. The contract was also signed by the old "AmigaInc". You can't pick out the nuggets and leave the rest behind.
