Winuae 1.41 under win98

I've run winuae under w98se before, but not the latest.

Compaq EVO has 256 meg ram, nvidia vanta, win98 with all important updates installed.

When I attempt to start after setting a configuration, or just trying to Save a configuration, i get an illegal operation error referencing 017f:00404cf6.

Ideas?

I'm trying to use Thomas Rapp's 'Quick Installation Guide for OS3.9 on WinUAE (with CD-ROM support).'

I've used this method successfully several times before...

My gues is that they stoped developing winuae supporting win98 they most probbably dont beta test on that os any more as it is not the most recent ...
