Amiga Freespace and Parallax Online

Does anyone know if the Parallax Online (www.pxo.net) gaming service works in the Amiga version of Freespace? I've been trying to select it but every time I activate it in the prefs and come back it's deactivated.

Anyone ever got this to work?

So basically what I'm asking is: was parallax online support ever added to Amiga Freespace or is it shown but not implemented? There is no documentation on this at all.

I know members of Hyperion do visit ocassionally - one of you will know?

I asked this question on the mailing list some time ago when I bought the game and Hyperion replied it will not work with parallax online, you have to set up a server yourself on your machine or find someone who did it. Never played it through internet although I would like very much to (but not sure if phone line can cope)

When you DO get online with Freespace its a real blast though.

Sadly enough my Amiga hasn't the power to run the Amiga version but I've had much fun with the PC version.
