Greetings Defenders of the Faith! This is my first post in 23 months, so I thought it's about time I said Hello once more and to offer my thoughts on the Amiga scene atm. I, like all of you, see so much potential with the Amiga platform, although I don't really follow the ins and outs of AInc, Hyperion, Eyetech et al, I am saddend that there seems to be a lack of cooperation between all the remaining Amiga companies. Amiga, as an OS, is still SO great, it may lack some modern technologies but it is crafted with such elegance and clear passion that it just makes you smile everytime you use it. I am glad that OS 4 is finally out the door (can you believe the amount of time that took!!!!). Now we need some Hardware! :-o That is why I plead with the few companies left to join forces and keep this small flame burning bright. I use the next best thing to an Amiga atm - a mac :roll: which, while excellent, still lacks that simplicity and elegance that makes an amiga so attractive. Anyway that's my rant over with all I wish to offer now is a big shout out to Quixote, Coder (if he's still around), Redrumloa (gets me everytime :-D ) and all the "old guys" who made and still (hopefully) make this community the wonderfull place it is.
