What USB Devices do you have attached?
« on: April 12, 2007, 02:08:52 PM »
I have just installed a Subway USB device into my A1200 desktop, great device... I have a card reader, a memory stick and a mouse all functioning perfectly and I would be interested in buying a USB printer and a web cam...

Is anyone using the Subway?
Can you recommend any USB devices that I could purchase - I am really looking for advice as to which small printer would be compatible...

Any advice would be welcome.

Just a mouse  :-D

I also have a card reader, but every memory card i try to format with either ffs or sfs ends up with having read problems (block XXX has read errors and stuff). Seems with fat formated cards everything is ok.

Has any of you guys formated a card with ffs or sfs? Maybe there is something in blocks/max transfers/etc.

Anyway is the only way

What model number is the webcam and also what software do you use on the amiga for the webcam...

I have a pentax Optio digital camera but when I plug it into the Amiga usb it is only recognised as a nodos icon - same when I put the camera sd card into the card reader - it is picked up by trident as a nodos storage device - is there a way to get it recognised correctly?

Cheers for any advice...

I have used a Subway before I got the Spider, I use an Olympus digicam & a Hewlet Packard Deskjet 5550C. Both work fine.

Recently, I can also use an 80GB hard drive, 10gb formatted FAT32 & 70Gb NTFS, although that is only read only.

Just make sure you have the latest version of Poseidon (currently 3.6) available from Chris Hodges (www.platon42.de)

Ok, i use pc game controllers, seagate 160gig drive, mice, mp3 players, microsoft zune doesnt work, haven't tested ipod these devices need to synchronize i think.  ive had success with mp3 players, and flash drives, there is a way to get dvd drives to work, no need for it just yet without accelerator.
