try replacing your Installer in the C folder with this installer instead

Hi! I had problems with the demo version of idefix as well years ago. Now I've the full package and quite happy with it too. Anyway- an error occured during install when attempting to install catalog files which weren't present.
Choosing just the english language worked fine. Might try that if the updated installer fails.

Maybe the files are corrupted, unpack them again and on your Amiga

I would _NOT_ extract the idefix package on the disk (using the pc...) just put the idefix.lha there, and extract it on the amiga... some files might be illegal for windows and could lead to install problems...

and run the "InstallSoftware" icon only (no clue what do you mean with install1 and install2 icons)
