You could try and find a multiscan monitor. My two scan down to 15kHz and scasn up to around 60 to 70kHz I think.
The multiscans are very expensive and im not sure whether anyone makes them any more, I was lucky with mine, got some in a haul of Acorn stuff my old school was getting rid of.

Microvitec still make multiscan crt monitors for the medical profession. They will do them for private individuals, but it costs lots!!!! £350 for 15" if i remember correctly.

Realistically if you want to use a CRT you will need a scandoubler or second hand 15KHz monitor.

I wonder if Microvitec can make units to be used in the US? If so and it could support all the Amiga modes it sounds like a good deal to me and I just might buy 1 or 2 to replace my aging 1084 and 1960.

Anyone know more about Microvitec?

They are effectively dead. They dont make consumer electronics anymore http://www.microvitec.co.uk/

You are insane if you would pay $600+ dollars for a 14" monitor

I spoke to them in the past. Too expensive for me though...

If a group of you got together an order of 5 or so units, then they might be interested in doing a deal??? Why not contact them and see  0044 (0)1274 816700.. I note they have some 15" old stock.

Actually insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.

I'm not saying I would pay that much for an Amiga compatible monitor, but it is my own business.    :-P

And for £120 you can get a BRAND NEW 15" LCDTV from ASDA.

It has a built in RGB Scandoubler, a VGA connector (for RTG graphic card input) and it works as a monitor switcher to switch between AGA and RTG.

AND it has an analog TV tuner and speakers.
