« on: March 18, 2007, 09:33:07 AM »
Does anyone know if Mattathias Basic is still under development ? ... The idea, is sooooo cool I think. Will it run on a normal stinky PC ? On a Mac ? ... Mac would be better *S* Is there a "demo" to test yet ?

Bye for know !! *Smile*

I still do a lot of programmin on Amos ( UAE running a workbench with a drop of Deluxe Paint 4, Workbench 3.1 and Amos Basic 1.35 since I dont know how to install a proper workbench on my mac... The dumb thing is -> I can save all programs and so, but cant change my workbench :'( ) A little help ??

If you want to code in Basic on an Amiga, then Blitz 2 is your best bet. It's now free, is system friendly, and is the most recently-developed flavour of Basic on the Amiga.

On the Mac/PC there is BlitzMax.

Mattathias is still under development.  If you want regular updates, join the mailing list at Yahoo groups' Mattathias page.  I've recently been added to the development team and we've recently completed an up-to-date design document.  The source code is being hosted on SourceForge.net at this project page.

BTW, why not upgrade to AmosPro v2.0?  You can download the latest disk images from the Amos Factory website.  It's in the download area but you have to register on the website to gain access to it.
