Project D and Software Excitement circa 1988

Anyone remember what those were? For some reason those
titles are itching the edge of my memory but I can't place
what they were.

Project D as far as I can remember was a disk copier. As I remember it worked fairly well for me at the time.

Software Excitement - Got me on that one!
I do remember this being the feeling I would experience whenever I would visit Warners in San Diego and see all of the cool new Amiga software.

Software Excitement was a PD software seller.   I had written a disk cataloging program and they had it on disk..I still have their magazine w/my screenshot & name next to it.. cool stuff.

Whoa, ProjectD! That was my brothers main disk copying program until he got X-Copy back in the early 90's. :-)
Amiga 3000D UP and running! Hear that clicking. 8)
Amiga 3000D & 4000D in storage sadly.

Anyone remember a program called DCopy? I always preferred that to XCopy..

I used synchro express w/the 'dongle' thing.. it copied every single game I needed it to copy.

Man, I remember booting that up hundreds of times and playing tetris for hours!

The program was tetracopy btw.

Thanks everyone... Now I remember. Software excitement had
 the dynamite stick for a cursor and projectd had that blue
gradient screen.

And thanks for showing your age in remembering that!
