CBM (never on E-bay update)
« on: March 08, 2007, 12:36:22 AM »
My most humble apologies to anyone left in limbo, as I was:
(1) working 10-11 hours days
(2) testing and cleaning the hardware. Throwing away the junk.

The following floppy drives are now ready. All cables and or power supplies necessary are included.
(A)Aligned via Cardinal Software's Physical Exam or FreeSpirit Software to the specified tolerances.
1541's (4) Nortronics , (4) Alps, (2) 1541C
1571's (8), 1 has JiffyDos

(B)
1581's (3) with WD1772 chips, 1 drive has JiffyDos

The following computers are now ready.
(3) 64C's
(6) 64's, with 1 new unit.
(4) C128's

New 1764 in box
Used 1750
Aprosand expanders
Numerous printers and ribbons (inquire)

The C128D is still under test.
The C128 with JD 6.01, upgraded VDC board, and the SuperCPU128 with 16 megs RAM is still under test. The MMU board was just recently found.

The following Amiga hardware is ready, or will be shortly:
Amiga 2000 6.1 MB, with 1 meg chip ram.
DKB3128 with 128 megs ram (no disk required)
Toaster A4000 with manual, and new software, and transfer ownership letter.
A4000 SX SCSI card
Trumpcard Pro
Amiga 3000D (inquire on specs)
A4000 XL Pro internal
A4000 XL Pro external
several external DD drives (inquire)
A4000D PSU

This update is not all the items. I'm too frazzled to commit myself to test all that remains (at the present time). After I clear off some of the above, I'll try to get to the rest.

To the offers that I did commit with, yes, your item is ready at this time. To those that waited, my sincere thanks. To anyone else that lost interest, I am truly sorry. I bit off more than I could handle alone, and it over-whelmed me.
Won\'t hide my location.

Hot damn I have always wanted a SuperCPU and I just sold off all of my C= goodies in Dec

The C128 and SuperCPU with 16 megs Ram plus a VDC 64k video card is now ready.

What happened and what was done to correct it:

The C128 with JD 6.01, upgraded VDC board, and the SuperCPU128 with 16 megs RAM was not working. It seems the motherboard was bad. Also, JiffyDos is part of the SuperCPU, so an additional JD was stupid. (That's the way I got it). I pulled the MMU and VDC, installing into another C128. It now is working.

BTW- I am aware of the E-Bay sale of a similiar C128 (less VDC) was very pricy.
