« on: March 04, 2007, 06:53:04 PM »
Im reinstalling the mediator in my A4000T, and i remember vaguely that there was a really good installation guide available on-line. Anyone got a link for that?

These guides are quite old and doesn't mention all the new updates and special envarc settings but I'm happy to help out with those issues as my mind if fresh with that info since I just wrestled with those issues  :-D

Okay... just finished trying to follow the crappy instructions on the Mediator CD... as expected nothing works.

"Attach settings to" "no board" in Picasso96Mode program seems to be a problem...
Im using an old Picasso96Settings file from an old system installation, voodoo settings are there, but cant attach to board for some reason. Maybe easier to start all over?

Any help is appreciated. Hey, you live near Upplandsgatan by any chance? :)

You need to run the P96 install again and choose UPDATE and only change the monitor settings

I live in Hökarängen so not very far away...can always stop by if you need assistance  :-)

Okay, seems like i got it working, kind of.

I get frequent system lockups, everything "hangs". I had these happening in my old setup too, but i thought that was due to Dopus Magellan running as workbench replacement. But this is a clean 3.9 + BB1 + BB2 installation.

Any ideas?
