Another question for you tech minded amiga owners. I have a
Cosmo vga box
and it works great when i want to use my ps2/n64/v64/xbox it also works playing amiga games but when it comes anything to do with workbench it just fades in and out and flickers a bit. Any chance of a way round it? Driver, hardware hack? Anyone else tried other vga converter boxes? Might be a cheaper alternative to a scandoubler/flickerfixer. Im thinking of mounting this inside my A1200T/PPC put the switch on a front blanker plate so i can have workbench mode and game mode for when im using whdload. In the workbench gone mad scenerio i can fix it with my tv card in my PC.Good idea? :-?

My guess the reason why it flickers/fades in and out is due to the interlaced mode??
Hehehe, but then again its been ages since I last seen interlaced on my Amiga. :-)

What have you got in DEVS:Monitors/ ?
You need to be using PAL or NTSC modes with this type of box since I don't think they'll pass through any kind of VGA mode.

Running wide overscan? Try reducing it to standard.
