What sort of monitor are you using? Maybe it has a loose connection? Are you using a graphics card? What games are you trying to play?

What spec is the A4000? What OS are you trying to run? OS3.0, 3.1, 3.5, 3.9, Linux, NetBSD, FreeBSD, MacOS 7.x? or what?
