thanks, but nope ;( need amiga-openssh full version ;( (scp,sftp,sshd,etc,etc). in note on aminet write that this tools present/tested in amiga-openssh port. but now link is dead, but agayn - this very need for me.

I have it running... Unfortunately I've deleted
the archive from my downloads directory, but
I can send you ssh, sftp, sshd and the readme
file if you want.. Can't find scp, but I couldn't
get it working.. You can alernatively compile it
yourself, the instructions are given in the
readme file.

The ssh version is 3.0.5 (that means ssh protocol
2). Protocol 1 is insecure and shouldn't be used.

I've started doing a port myself (based on the
port by the chernoff guy).. I will optimise it a
bit. The main program (ssh) allready runs quite
a bit faster than the port by the chernoffguy.
When it's running ok, I will probably upload it
to my webspace at the university so you guys
can enjoy it. I will probably contact the chernoffguy to.

Great news!! I'm happy to hear that a new version is coming out! I'm especially interested of sftp, I'd like to use it to send files to my university's account. But even better would be a gui for it, would it be difficult to make a script for DOpus 4+ to handle files transparently as with ftpmount?
Don't forget to include a 020 version for us slow cpu users :-)

hola. i found chernoffguy port, but yes - on 040/33 cpu its some slowly but worked, and anyway this good. new port (of course witchout backdoors;) ) will be good, if run faster. if  any ppl need chernoffguy port, i can upload in any place. ci a.

Current state:
ssh works fast
sftp crashes
sshd works buggy
scp works

A 020 version should be no prob. I want to fix
sftp before I think of any gui on it..

A backdor in ssh, what a mean idea. :-) No, I
wont include a backdoor!

about the way, you can send me your ssh client only ? on my 040 i need some 'discomfort wayting' with chernoff ssh client.  if can, send it plz to kas1e@yandex.ru. i 'hard test' it too, of course
