A4000/Mediator question
« on: June 08, 2003, 09:08:11 AM »
I bought the Elbox Mirage 4000 Pro PCI Mediator for my trusty A4000D. Not completely unexpected, I ran into some problems.

My miggy sports a Fastlane Z3 scsi controller, which when fitted into the mediator board reports scsi phase errors at boot. This results in continous reboots. Refitted in the original case/configuration all works fine.

I've contacted Elbox support, but didn't get a reply over the last 5 days. Does anyone here have a clue?

What version Buster chip do you have? To avoid Z3 problems you need the latest chip v9 I think.

Revision 9 is the buggy one, Revision 11 is the buster you should have.

I can't comment on the Fastlane, though, as I don't have one.
