GVP Impact 030 Ram16 Rev 3
« on: February 19, 2007, 09:59:33 AM »
Hi all,  I pulled my 030 (33Mhz) GVP card out of my 2000 to replace the HD, that was playing up. I took careful note of the jumpers that were connected to the HD led and the CPU Disable switch....  Do you think I can find the paper now. !    Doh..

Anyway I'm 95% sure the HD Led was Jumper CN6 but it has 3 pins. I am assuming the centre is common and the top power.

The one I am not sure of is the CPU disable.  My options are Jumper J3, J6, J12 or CN8.  As these are the only open jumpers in the area I pulled the disable lead from.

I have looked at the GVP-M site and the 2 Amiga hardware sites but neither have jumper settings for the Impact 030 Rev 3.  And no its not the same as the GForce-030 Combo as http://www.amiga-hardware.com/showhardware.cgi?HARDID=177 would have us believe.  They have a picture of my card.  But if you look at the jumpers listed at the bottom of the page they don't match the "items" picture and there is no listing for the 33mhz card.

So does someone have the manual for the card or the same card and can help me with these pins.

Thanks in anticipation...
 :-(

I had the same problem and found the info for the Impact 030 in a posting on Usenet.  Try Google Groups and you should find the info you're looking for.
