Well... I haven't seen a Macintosh ad for quite a while (8-9 years at least) to be honest... I don't watch TV cause I can't stand the commercials (in general), I adblock all of them on the Web, and I haven't seen any Mac ads in the papers or heard them on the radio...

Oh my. I watched one episode of that sitcom and found it completely awful... Never watched another one. If that's the best, one can only immagine what the worst one is like. Is the British TV becoming the same crap as the American one?

:lol: I love this quote! And I happen to agree with it... Using a single mouse button is really painful.

All in all, I don't *hate* Macs, but from my point of view, there's no difference with the PC, especially since they moved on the x86, now it's like a wolf in sheep's clothing. I see no difference whatsoever from the hardware point of view, and I never really cared for MacOS. It's like the pot calling the kettle black.

Personally I find Linux way more interesting even if not nearly as interesting as AmigaOS ever was.

But I can understand why the author feels so annoyed by Apple advertising. I find the same over here with Telus, I just can't stand them ;-)

Don't care to read it, and no, I don't watch TV either.

I just want to say that I like Macs, just nowhere near as much as I like my A3000.  I used to emulate a Mac on my Amiga, (mainly to run a DooM level editor so I could write DooM levels to play on my Amiga).  I was always amazed how much faster an emulated Mac runs on an Amiga than on a Mac (unemulated) with the same processor!

what can i say. The new macs ARE THE MODERN AMIGAS.
and this is how amiga should of turned out.

My friend owns a New Mac laptop.

And the OS on it, just simply reminds me off a rip off of the original Amiga 3.9, and now the OS4. At the same time, there are windows features in it(self explanatory, as Bill Gates immitates Mac)

Docks, what a fuken {edit by admin: profanity} this steve jobs is, he is becoming like a second Bill Gates.Amiga had that before Mac!

All that aside, I do agree though, Mac is not bad, however, it still isnt an Amiga OS, yet alone, nothing like the new Completed OS4(2007).

All in all, It'll be another couple a years before many people will have gone back to the new Amiga systems, that will be coming out with Hardware at a more reguarlar and constant pace.(soon)(sam440ep will definately give some spark, but the moana board will be interesting to see what happens to EX Amiga users, if they go back, or not)

So, Im staying with Amiga, Not touching the single mouse button MAc {bleep}, and I geuss, you also havent seen the New Linux OS, it {bleep}s all over the nw Mac OS.

If I were at home, Id post the link here, but Im at work, so I may do it later tonight, before my valentines date.

Also, I gathered you know that Wii won over sony, and that the new sony ps4 will not be allowed to use the latest hands free things with it.
But this is where Amiga can regain market.
Obviously the new OS4(2007)(completed) can play ps3 games directly on the new Amiga systems.
However what hasnt been noted is the dealings that Sony and Amiga are doing behind closed doors. Amiga used to have a virtual reality, now since wii won over sony, this is sony's way back into the market for the PS4, and hence, It may well be Amiga's only chance to gain a huge young market, of gamers for now.
At a later stage though, the Amiga Computer systems will once again shine, I just hope Amiga and Sony come to an agreement before half way of this year!

Returning to reality for a moment.

You don't have to use a one-button mouse in a mac. In fact Apple's own mighty mouse has three buttons and a scroll wheel that goes up and down and left to right. Just plug in anything you like and off you go.

Macs are great, if a little pricey. I wouldn't be without mine.

If Sony ever want anything from Amiga, they will just buy the patents/rights and use it. I wouldn't hold my breath for any magic partnership.

:crazy:  Funny, dont see any mention of that on Hyperions OS4 website, would have thought that'd be a major selling point worth bragging about.

So how's the 533Mhz SoC of the SAM440 gonna run code meant for a 3.2Ghz Cell CPU? (wont even mention the lack of SPE's, or the fact OS4 doesnt support nvidia gfx chips)

A company called Virtuality made the 1000CS VR game system with an A3000 inside it, nothing to do with Amiga (the company)

Its simple, do some hardcore research the next few days, and Im sure after many websites, and much reading, you will find the not so easy websites to find, with the valuable type of information, and the realistic type of information.

Just like the company soft3, it is real, and it is now partnered with Amiga, but yet you all still doubt it, whats wrong with you, the information is all over the net, just look very hard to find it, as Amiga is a niche market, it will take longer to get the real deal information!

Isnt that obvious to all you nut jobs downsizing your beloved Amiga platforms, I dont understand this one factor, also read my lovely posting on the Link I had posted in my first post, Im sure you will kringe at the fact that Ive put Amiga in with the other platforms spoken of!

But to those that arent kringing, well, your true supporters and really do wish Amiga to Rise again!

While we are at it, it is really simple here, I am just annoyed at how beligerant many of the Amiga people are on these forums, In fact, I bet, more than 50% on these forums dont even own an Amiga any more, and they just like to Bit-ch around.

As for grammer, well, what can I say, I type faster when I am at work, so that I do not get in trouble, hence, it seems your the one who has noticed that I am not a touch typist.

Interesting character you are, I have not heard a single post, while your talking to me, or anyone who was actually helping me in any of my previous posts, whether it be Amiga market or where ever else you have made a comment, speech, or remark, that has been positive.

Maybe you should give it a try, to start writing positive remarks, whereby you try to actually be informative.
