Although it appears like it, I doubt that he meant "for free", but simply "flicker free" as in device that offers no flickering.

Yes... "flickerfree" if you prefer... but if somebody wants to give something FOR FREE... ;-)
I am not sure but the last devices should be better than the previous... for example they should remove the flickering for interlaced resolutions! While the first should only give the Amiga the possibility to be used with VGA (31 KHz) monitors... somebody can also help about this matter?  :-?
