Yeah, that is a monitor which can remember the settings digitally. Just about all monitors manufactured the last 5 years should be able to do this. Many older monitors, like my NEC from 93 can also do this, though you can only set the geometry for different screenmodes with it, the brightness and contrast are the same for all screenmodes.
There is a very easy way to see if a monitor lacks this capability. If it has ordinary analogous wheels for every setting it cant remember different settings for different screenmodes.. like the Amiga M1438S monitor for example.
