Important Amiga500 question! What versions AmigaDOS?!?

Very important question what version AmigaDOS shipped with the Amiga 500 in the version that shipped in this box??

Why do i get the impression you want to bid on one on Ebay but the Rom version isnt in the add? :-) anyways wasent this a quite late release? if so probably 1.3 if earlier 1.2 or REAL late 2.x but i cant seem to remember if this was an early or late rel but i do know i read about that exact one sometime... ohh loads of babble and no real help... guess im bored .

Ok, this is IIRC stuff, but looks like one of the first bundle releases, so Kick/WB 1.3 I think.. There was a "white" box before this one that shipped with either Kick 1.2 or 1.3, and Workbench 1.2 / 1.3. Although some Kick 1.3 where sold with WB1.2.. (I had one of those)

Why is this OS version so important ?

I know the A500 shiped with 1.2, 1.3 and 2.0.

This is doubtful to be a 2.0, very doubtful. It's either a 1.2 or 1.3. Which one it is, is very important! :-o

I am not bidding on the one on eBay, though I saw it:-)

The A500 box that I have came in a box that looks like that.  It has 1.3 ROMs.

It's difficult to be 1.2 so I bet for 1.3 or possibly 2.0 not more.

I think it agree with the sentiment here that it is almost 100% that these would be 1.3. It's just a darn shame it's not maked on the boxes? Why didn't Commodore mark the boxes? Unreal!

I remember this distincly, seeing as I had and A500 and then a A500+

A500: 1.2/1.3 - although most in the UK were 1.3.

A500+: 2.0x - I'm pretty sure the boxes said 'A500 Plus' on them, although some A500+ boxes shipped with A500s in them. (Classic Commodore screw-up, and in a roundabout way, how I 'upgraded' my A500 to a A500+ ;-) )
