We might count that as a wildcard so you're in the contest but you won't win

If you want an entry into this contest you must sell it to me and then you can compete with your A1200 maybe  :-D

The entry fee is quite expensive and I think your C= A4000T will do as the entry fee   :-P

What's the difference between an A4000D/030 and an A4000D/040? If the CPU is on a daughterboard then surely a difference in badge is all there is...   right?

You are basically correct but the CPU is on the motherboard. Mine are actually badged A4000/060 and A4000/PPC

I think Keropi has single handedly doubled the value of all A4000 hardware  :-) But hang on a minute! ..... This means that I will have to pay double for everything that I want from now on :boohoo:

Going back a bit in the thread.... I think the collecting addiction starts with getting a backup for your main machine in case it goes wrong. Then after installing loads of stuff into that one, it becomes another main machine as well. So you need a backup for that backup too. Before you know it you are getting backups of your backups for your backups. Then each of those becomes an individual machine and the never ending circle continues. Well that's what happened with me any way  :-P

@ Karlos

You hit the nail right on the head mate. Now I know what drove me insane. I had wrongly thought it was the Mrs nagging about my "Amiga junk" for years that drove me round the bend

@ Hyperspeed

Well, that depends on the motherboard revision. Some Rev.D have 030er soldered directly onto the board.
