What is the Amiga inc. value?

10 Millions $?
20 Millions $?
30 Millions $?
50 Millions $?

What is the Hyperion Entertainment value?

10 Millions $?
20 Millions $?
30 Millions $?
50 Millions $?

So we I Think if not impossible someone make an offer,  buy Amiga inc. and Hyperion , start to produce an OS for X86.

The only problem is that Bill won't sell  . . . .. . .

PPC is out of production in 2012

Legal trouble Amiga inc - Hyperion , is a very damn thing.

I have a friend that can make a good offer.  :rtfm:

Developers are waiting a STANDARD new Amiga,
whitout this , we have no future.

Where on earth did you get that from?

If you want AmigaOS on x86, take a look at Aros.  They already have a head start, and it's looking good.

Not as it's a selling argument, but if you're into assembler programming, give PPC asm a try.  Compared to x86, it will knock you off the chair.
Code 6502 asm or... DIE!!

http://www.power.org

probable the new ppc architecture in 2012 is not very compatible with predecessor and high cost , so amiga Os for ppc will be a very small market and trouble compatibility.

I intend the classic chrp PPC architecture, is out of prodution in 2012

we cannot be IBM hostages.

rewrite amiga os every new ibm products?

This is just getting too ridicilous, these are just your assumptions and speculations.

Where on power.org?  Please link directly to the article.

I can hardly imagine that they have to rewrite the entire OS just for a new-gen CPU.  They most likely will modify and recompile the existing code, which takes a fraction of the time required to rewrite the entire OS.

x86 is an arse to program for compared to PPC.

The more important issue though is whether it is an open or closed system.

Even if they did change to x86, I have no doubt that Amino would "do an Apple" and only let AmigaOS run on THEIR x86 box. Which they will make a few thousand of and then stop. Just as they have done with PPC.

I can't wait for Amino to go broke so tha Amiga can be free to run on generic hardware. This, or an AmigaOne emulator for x86 systems, are the only viable ways forward I can see.
