WTB: Amiga 600
« on: January 27, 2007, 06:08:30 AM »
I'm looking for a 600, and if possible with a 3.x kickstart rom, without hard drive and disk drive is ok.

Must be able to ship to the U.S and also must be located in the us.

Thanks,
Big-o

EDIT: just found out about the form factors

I have an extra A500 that I might be willing to sell, but it has a Supra HD controller with it.  I guess I could sell the HD separately on eBay.  Where are you located?
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

Well I have an A600 but it's currently none functional.

A 3.1 ROM has just been ordered so that I can get it up and running, I expect that'll be about a week or so. Then I'll find out if it can be made to live once again.

No HDD and no Disk drive in it. It's a pretty stripped down little old machine.

Finally, i'm not in the US but in the UK so it'd have to be shipped/flown across the ocean.

If you're interested we can probably work something out, my girlfriend would love for me to get rid of some of these computers. It'd be nice to see it go to someone who would use it as well :-)

Trying to use a super A600? I don't blame you, they are really cute. I sold mine, but you can read my adventures here:

UK 600's will be PAL and will not work on a NTSC TV. They can run on a Amiga monitor but will default to PAL on coldboot.  Plus the A600's in Europe are dirt cheap compared to US, something to think about.

Looking for Fusion Fourty PNG ROMs V3.4?

I'd love a 600HD myself, but am still hunting a reasonable priced non-yellow A1200. Been looking at Amigakit but they don't supply as US PSU and I'm still weary of shipping from overseas. Has anyone here in the US bought Amigas off them?
