Parting out my A3000
« on: January 23, 2007, 02:16:36 AM »
Well...  I decided i'm going to part out my system.  I'm willing to ship everything but the computer world-wide.  I also accept paypal, and a complete money back guarantee.

-Progressive Mercury '040/35 Accelerator w/ 16MB RAM... Missing standoffs for mounting, but it stays put just fine - $SOLD

-GVP Spectrum 24 Zorro II/III card.  Compatible with CyberGFX, and P96.  $150

-A3000 System w/ original keyboard/mouse/OS 3.1 loaded.  2MB Chip/4MB Fast RAM, 1GB HD, floppy and 3.1 ROMS. $SOLD

The A3000 comes with a box of odds/ends including a spare floppy drive, Workbench 3.1 manuals, and a crapload of software (OS Versions 2 through 3.1, as well as a bunch of misc disks).

EVERYTHING INCLUDES ORIGINAL MANUALS, SOFTWARE, ETC...

Pictures are coming shortly.  I will be out of town Thursday - next Monday so I can ship out until Wed, otherwise it will have to wait until I get back.
A3000, 3.1, Mercury \\\'040, and GVP Spectrum (yeah, back in 2007.. RIP)
Currently a few A2000\'s an A1200 and a couple A500\'s

Hmm I would be interested in the spectrum, but having just bought a Cybersision 64 for $166 (and that's en ebay price), 150$ seems little bit steep. Don't you think ? (sorry for constantly keeping your prices down :))

I'm going to stick with $150, otherwise i'll put it on ebay myself.  If it doesn't sell i'll keep it, since I know i'll want one again if I pick up a 4000.

*EDIT* - I'll throw in shipping for the local folks at this price.

eBay isn't the devil if you are dirt poor, or you need to make necessary capital. It's only the devil you want to be a cheap b@stage and get priceless hardware for dirt trade.

Why would you pay so much for a CyberVision 64, when you could get a brand new CyberVision 64/3D for just a little more?

Because my friend CV64 is milspec and has the passthrough connector, while it's optional and not included in the softhut CV64/3D's, as far as I know.

Now I know.

Sorry, I tend to forget about the passthrough altogether since getting an A3000 in '98.  Even though I still have several A500s and A2000s..!

I kind of miss the CV64/3D.  It was slow but did support screen dragging!

How can you fit so much in such a little Amiga.
Why the reduction ?   Need the money to buy a new OS4.0 Machine...?

Money is what makes the world go round. Without it your life is miserable. The person that says that money only brings you misery is definately in denial.
