Not lucky I just changed like others from a G4 to a G3.
Its been discussed to death so I wont bore you with reasons.

Last week of November 2002

Just took some photos so I'll try and get them uploaded and post a link...

Comes in a regular carboard box.
You get two CD's

1.  Amiga One Boot Install CD
2. Debian 3.0r1 Offical PPC Binary-1

Printed copy of AmigaOne-XE quickstart guide.

Its very nice

Hey congratulations!

I'm still holding out for my G4. I would swap to G3, but then again, i'm not THAT desperate to run Linux PPC, so I'll just hang on until Eyetech get the next XE-G4 batch.

Plus, with people swapping to G3, that just moves me higher up the list  :-D

@JurrasicCamper

Congrats,

My XE should be waiting for me when I get home today, I also ordered a G4 last november but changed it to a G3 last week, and as they have charged my account yesterday it should be there now (or tomorrow at the latest).

good luck with getting it all up and running.

regards

Mostafa

Apparently being the operative word... :-D
Still, if that's correct, mine should be there for my return from Canada on the 27th June.

Me decides not to hold breath..... ;-)

Yeah. It makes no odds to me until OS4 is out, tbh. It'll only be a second machine as a linux box.

The A4000 and GameCube provide all my game and computer needs until then  :-D
