In theory, yes. In practice, I haven't had time to even switch the thing on in months. Last time, the flashrom went flaky (an annoying habit my PPC card seems to have) and I haven't touched it since.

I was thinking exactly the same thing.  I haven't been on mine since my HD blew and possibly took out the IDE buffer at the same time :-(
