Wanted: A1000 RAM Expansion

Does anyone have a RAM board or side car expansion for the Amiga 1000 that they'd like to sell?  I have 512K now and would like to expand to at least 1MB.  I'm preferable to the Spirit Technology internal RAM board, but I guess the Supra side car would be just as good.

If i remember correctly.... My dad bought an a1000 when i was 5. He added the standard ram addon in the front of the case. This should have brought it up to 512k right? I have never seen an a1000 that didn't have the addon card in the middle front. I have 4 of these machines, and all of them have the expansion there.

I remember the old man bought a microbiotics device that plugged in on the right side. I think it added 1mb? Am i correct on that? It was metal case and had textured white paint on it, and had a zorro pass through on the right side.

Sorry, I only have a front expansion I could part with, I think you already have it, and i don't have a side expansion at all.

Yeah, I believe that you are correct on all accounts.  There is also an internal RAM expansion card that the A1000 will take that installs directly into the processor slot, and in turn, the processor plugs into the card.  I think that it was made by Spirit Technology.

Took me years to find one of these, paid through the nose too. When I originally had an A1000 myself I had a side expansion which was fitted with 512k but had upto 2mb as an option IIRC. Was lucky just to get another 512k so I can play Wings on it :-)

You can look for Comspec AX2000 too
A 2 mb external board for A1000 with pass through.

should be plenty in US then?

I have one, but want to keep it.
