A3000D running again, so far...
« on: December 19, 2006, 07:35:38 AM »
Welp, after an all nighter, almost, I managed to get the A3000D operational. So far. Clock battery was replaced last year just before I moved all the stuff into the back room and shut the door...
Let the machine run for a couple days to make sure battery charged. Installed OS3.1 and ZIP driver. Found the last backup of the WB on a Zip Disk and restored the WB partition from it enabling the PicassoII. Scanner funstions. Restored LW5 from a backup. woot! Found a bunch of what I thought were missing LW objects that I had been working on a while ago.

4 gig HD with 100mg WB, 1gig work partition, 500mg CD buffer/temporary scanned files partition and a 1 gig storage partition. Have some drive left to patition and format.

Before I go any farther with installing more programs, should I install SFS?  Is it as easy to install as FFS? Do I have to reformat the drive and reinstall the OS and such? Why do I continue to torture myself?
