Well, you can hardly expect Dirty Harry to hold up a mouldy toothpick and say 'Go ahead, make my day.'
Dirty Harry is not complete without the meanest hardware, everybody knows that.

Sure, but technically the hardware displayed so far have been *drills* not *screwdrivers* ;-)

Of course, you can fit screwdriver heads to them but that isn't the point. Powered tools are to DIrtY Harry what a submachine gun would be to Harry Calahan.

Did you see Calahan with an automatic weapon? Did you? Well, did you, punk?

Of course not. DIrtY Harry has no need for such contrivences, either :-P

You can't keep living in the 70s, old bean.
Even Dirty Harry has to evolve! If he was on the beat today he would take all the hardware he could get.

But don't you think it has a certain air of, uh... compensation, so to speak?

That was the intent after all: to show that Dirty Harry has the biggest baddest gun.
The model 29 and the model 57 are not snub-nosed .22s

You beat me to it.

But, for a piece of compensation hardware, it's still very short :roflmao:

Pffff.. girlies the lot of ya.
What's wrong with one of these.. saves all the hassle of those fiddly flat pack
fixings.

3 nails a second, and a lovely aftersmell of burnt propane :-D
And when you disable the safety mechanism, they can fire for about 100 yards, just enough to pick off a running chav.

Nah.. even that Paslode is girlie by Norris's standards.

Now this compressed air powered one is more his style..

Chuck Norris is so hard, he doesn't need a compressor, he can just fart into the air hose :-)

BTW, during all your years as a radiographer, have you ever come across anything like this ?

@ Doobrey

Hehe that guy is obviously not a guy you want to call to help you with DIY

I've not seen any nailgun injuries. In fact DIY injuries to the head, involving projectiles and such are quite rare. The only one I know of (which I missed because I was on night shift) was an angle-grinder disc that came off and embedded in a guy's forehead. He survived with little damage.
