As far as i know there's been no reports of problems with the PSP running at 333Mhz, look on the box it came in and you'll see that they advertise it as a 333MHz machine!

They only limit the CPU at 222MHz and limit the bus speed to 111Mhz to save on battery life which diminishes rapidly the faster you run it.

No idea to get it anyways, it is so slow it is not fun to use.

PSP UAE I don't think can run on versions of the firmware later than 1.50. There are some launchers that use exploits that may enable it to run on a 2.82 but I'm not sure what the software called.

I ended up downgrading my PSP back to 1.50 and using the devhook package to emulate upto 3.02 PSP for my UMD games that require it. This then keeps the homebrew stuff working.

However if you go down this road be careful because you have to check your PSP hardware version can safely do this. You can end up with a bricked PSP which ain't good.

Anyway have a look here:

They've got lots of downloads and info.

Hello,

To run UAE on a PSP, your PSP must be able run homebrew software. The latest original Sony firmware that can run homebrew is v2.80. Using a TIFF exploit.

I'm afraid that v2.82 won't run homebrew software yet...(or ever).
