Can i watch YouTube videos on Ibrowse?

Is it possible to watch YouTube videos using IBrowse?

I doubt there is a Flash plug-in that is up-to-date enough to do that.

Just saw that Flash support isn't even in the current version (!).
Beating the dead horse since 2002.

Even if it was possible, I guess 680x0 hardware would be too slow to carry out the audio/video decompression and playback...

YouTube needs Flash 7. There's no Flash 7 player for AmigaOS.

Sure, youtube_downloader.lha (requires MPlayer, so it might not be that useful for m68k AmigaOS)

If you don't want to use the ARexx script, you can use this site, which lets you dowload the FLV file. I'm guessing there is a way to convert from FLV to a format which will play better on an Amiga?

FFMPEG maybe? x86 version of ffmpeg can convert FLV to MPEG or AVI, i don't know if Amiga version will do it.

theres a thread on AW.net that explain how...

you'll need:

a TCP/IP stack with TCP: handler

the scripts based on Fab (thamks Fab) original arexx script, available on OS4depot

MPlayer

and a lot of free time ;-)
