rad priority 0

Here's the culprit. RAD is using the precious chip memory.

Why do you have a RAD disk mounted? To remove it, drag the icon from Devs/DOSDrivers to Storage/DOSDrivers. Wait for couple of seconds, power off, power on and see the amount of free memory grow about 880KB.

although not entirelly nescessary for gaming, a cheap 030 acclerator with 8+ MB of fastram will help you A LOT. look for something like the M-TEC 1230/28 , they are cheap and very compatible. or get those el-cheapo 4/8MB fastram expansions...
but if u have more than 4MB installed with those cheap accels/memboards u will loose the pcmcia port functionality...
if u have the money, go for a Blizzard 1230 MKIV, they are great and don't disable the pcmcia port.
after you get that  :-D  , and register WHDLOAD too, u will need a bigger HD , it is very easy to fill 3-4GB with whdload games...

well that makes me curious - why Slamtilt and Pinball Illusions won't load from my floppy disks then?
I have them them on originals, booting the system with the floppies inside, and everything works - up to the point where I'm selecting a table, then the system asks for changing the disk, and when game supposed to load(either slamtilt or illusions), once again ask me for a 1st disk, and game goes back to wb, saying that system ran out of memory or the tables are missing(which is not posibble), because both games are perfectly fine, even running them both from floppies causes problems with memory which is just mind-blowing ^_~
and I still can't get them to work...

Are you booting to WB first, and then running them from floppy disk, or are you booting from floppy disk? If you boot them straight from disk, there should not be a memory problem; Slamtilt always worked fine on a non-expanded (no harddisk as well) A1200 by me.

Try going to the early startup menu, disable all drives except DF0: and boot it up.

If it still fails then you must have another problem. Maybe try removing the harddrive?

765, 750 graphics mem, 0 other ram

That is very little ram left! I have nearly 2 megs free after a normal WB boot, so something is clearly wrong somewhere. What do you get if you boot from the clean WB floppy instead of booting it from the HD? I do however have a small amount of fast ram, but still.. I think you should have atleast 1.5meg left unless you use hires and loads of colours.

It's the RAD disk eating 880KB memory.

thanks for all the response guys.

here's what I did:

I took rad from devs/dosdrivers, drawer is without rad now, I dont have storage drawer anywhere(?), so I popped wb storage 3.0 disk in, and copied all the files, so I have storage folder(copied from floppy) I deleted rad file(permanently, or just a icon?), clearly something is wrong(still the same amount of free memory available) + when I'm trying to enable rad file from storage (dos drivers)(trying to see if the file is still there), - it says, that rad is already mounted, so probably I didn't remove it at all, and there is still rad in the boot menu.
awaiting response ^_~

To remove it, drag the icon from Devs/DOSDrivers to Storage/DOSDrivers (or just delete the RAD and RAD.info). Wait for couple of seconds, power off, power on and see the amount of free memory grow about 880KB.

RAD is reset proof. You need to power off to get rid of it, or use RemRAD FORCE from shell (and reboot).

perfect, I didn't wait for the file to delete, I restarted system and everything works perfectly!
I tested Slamtilt, Brian the Lion - all from hard drive, without any problems, rad was the cause of taking lots of memory, thanks a lot!
right now I have nearly 2mb of free memory after rebooting the system with workbench.
games are awesome, just as I remembered playing them from mid 90's.
