I saw it the minute it was listed!
I thought for a while since it is obviously UNTESTED, and decided to grab it after 5mins... but I cannot since it is only restricted to US residents.

cheers McVenco !

Where does it say its restricted to US residents?  The seller doesn't explicitly say he will ship internationally, but he doesn't say he won't, either.

Precisely! Just send him an E-mail, convincing him to ship abroad because you want to BIN, and you will pay for the shipping. I don't see why he won't be doing that.

Other option: ask a fellow A.org member who lives in the USA to buy it and ship it to you :-D

Its like the old saying, "Its always easier to beg forgiveness than to beg permission."

In other words, just buy the thing and then play innocent if he gives you a hard time about shipping overseas.

tried it,

This seller has set buyer requirements for this item and only sells to buyers who meet those requirements.
You are unable to bid on or buy this item because:
You are registered in a country to which the seller doesn't ship.
Note: If you are still interested in bidding on or buying this item, you may contact the seller and ask that they exempt you from any buyer requirements.

tough luck, I know what I am talking about.
anyone want to get it for me? and I will pay the auction

Blast it.  Apparently my eBay search notification has expired for "amiga ppc".  Someone got it, though.

What's wrong with zero feedback? I've bought/sold dozens of things from/to private persons on lots of sites all over the Internet, but never on Ebay. Does that make me a bad buyer if I buy just one thing on Ebay ever? I rather despise that top seller arrogance: "I've sold and bought hundreds of things on Ebay, and you haven't sold/bought anything before, so you are not trustworthy.."
Bah..

That's my auction. Untested? "This was removed working, but is sold AS-IS as I have no control over how you install it."

It -is- tested. Quite thoroughly.

As for the BIN, someone by the handle "misteramiga" did that and say's he's from NY, and is buying it for Keropi. Keropi says it's someone he met on Amiga.org, but the guy in NY say's they are cousins.

As for the suggestion to ask for forgiveness rather than permission, that advice has caused loads of problems. eBay frowns on me mailing the item to an address other than that registered with the buyer account, while BidPay will not offer protection to me if I send to anything other than the payer's registered address. I'm not even sure BidPay will -let- someone who isn't the auction winner pay for it.

And all this went down while I was in the middle of changing the auction to allow international bidders. So if Keropi had been slightly more patient (and waited more than 8 hours for a reply, I was up at about 6:30am changing the auction when the other guy did a BIN on Keropi's behalf) then he could have done a BIN himself and things would be much simpler.

Now I'm between a rock and a hard place. And I'm left wondering who this 0 feedback new guy really is. Meanwhile I'm out the eBay fees on a $600 sale, Keropi has no worries of negative feedback or deadbeat bidder reports.

I have to say, this is one of the reasons I had set it to US bidders only. There always seems to be some misunderstanding, delay in customs, things I can't control but the buyer freaks out about and blames me for until they get the box and see I shipped it exactly when I said I did.

What I think is the only way this can proceed: Misteramiga in NY fixes his eBay registered mailing address. Keropi gets the money to Misteramiga, somehow. Misteramiga pays me, I ship to Misteramiga, misteramiga ships to Keropi.

This would have been so much simpler if Keropi had asked PERMISSION rather than FORGIVENESS with fake innocence.

pardon me, but the REAL worry here seems you are afraid I am a scammer???

So, ANYONE here, that I have bought or sold items to, come one and say if anything was wrong or I screwed you!

Right now I am one step from the final confirmation to send the money via BidPay, but I won't risk this chance to get the csppc I wanted, so I and stopthegop will do what it takes...
I don't want to argue, I just need this piece of hardware badly, as you all know....  :-D  :-D  :-D

Some things become more clear... so stopthegop is misteramiga on eBay?

Don't you think this would look strange to you if the situation were reversed? I've not hung out on Amiga.org in so long that I had to register again. You guys are playing it a bit sneaky, aren't you? Why -wouldn't- that make me nervous?

As I said to you in a private email, if BidPay will let you pay for the auction, then I'll ship to the mailing address you registered with BidPay.
