A500 with HD diskdrive... how?

How do I go about to get an A500 to accept HD diskdrive, what bones needs to be picked? machine does have ROM3.1 although I don't think that's was the issue (especialy since the A3000 will happily accept HD diskdrives with 2.0 ROM).

Once the "it's working" part is solved the hole thing might need modifying in order for it to work with the internal hardware addon that turns DF1 into DF0 as the internal floppydrive is removed.

Depends on the drive, I just threw the Amiga HD drive in and it has worked since, perhaps 8 years, KS 3.1.

As it needs no software patches, fitting it should be just depending on the drive/button size.
