My A1200 Back On Line!!! Yeah!!!

Hello,

I just wanna  tell my hummble  A1200 Back on Lime!! (i writing in his Keyboard Right Now!)

After some complications i can Install a Miami 020

This is the Configuration:

A1200 020
HD 1GB
10 MB RAM
MODEM US Robotics 56bps (soon ISDL )
OS 3.0

Thats AMIGA POWER!!!

Who Need Windows Vista???

Amiga 1000, 500, 600, 2000, 1200, 4000...

C= VIC 20 / 64 /SX64/ 128

Atari 600XL (SIC Cartdridge)
Atari 800XL (SIO2SD unit)

Nice one :-) It's great to see a miggy online. How fast is it? Browsing feels a bit sluggish on my A1200 (see sig).

Serious? Is it really rather slow with that high-end setup?

Would this be why you are switching to the A4000 world? ;-)

It's slow compared to my MacBook :-) But it's definitely usable. I don't know what difference the A4K would make to the performance. I just like it more than the D-Box my A1200 is in :-)

I hope the Amigans not have your Amigas on line... do too...  

The Speed is not the more fastest.. but is a Decent Speed..

Its cool.. this give another "flavor" to the Net!..:-P

Aye, sorry I didn't answer your first post...

I like your style - keeping it simple with the 020 and native 3.0 Workbench, yet still able to do things which other retro computers could only dream of!

How does browsing run on your base A1200? Like roughly how long it takes to load a page up (and can you even load images? lol :-) ).
