Broken A4000T
« on: November 10, 2006, 05:10:47 AM »
My A4000T has been lying idle for 3 years after a problem with power supply. The Mainboard power connector had a problem. P8 i think. It dows not work only P9 works. I tried changing the connector. It worked for a while and than stopped working again. When this happened joystick port stopped working and left sound channel started to make a white noise with very low volume.

Now what should I do. Maybe some other thing on the mainboard is causing all these. How can I find out. Help.

Can you explain what you mean by "changing the connector"?

Do you mean you swapped them over?

If you did that then you are probably in for some problems I would think.

cheers
