samsung 710mp monitor probs
« on: November 08, 2006, 02:17:24 AM »
I have just bought a samsung 710mp monitor and I am having a few problems getting it to work properly. It says the optimum screen mode is 1280x960 but when I select the mode the screen goes black. I have tried it on lesser screen modes but it will only use it for a couple of minutes before turning onto standby.
My system is as follows:
A1200 tower
blizzard ppc card
bvision graphics card
128 MB ram
10 GB hard drive
52x CD Rom

Thanks muchly  :-?

Could it be the refresh rate is too high?  Some LCD's won't accept anything over 60hz (or 50hz in the case of PAL I guess).
